ADOPTED MADISON - is a cute 1.5 year old girl with tons of love and cuddles to give the right home. She is very affectionate and looking forward to being a loving puppy in a permanent home.
ADOPTED CHELSEA - Chelsea asks: "What does it mean to be loveable? What makes us worthy of compassion? These are the questions I ponder as I wait for someone to find me loveable. So far, no one has answered those questions for me. I am not looking for philosophy. I am looking for something real and tangible. For me, that truth is a loving home. I am deaf. But it does not hinder my love for life and ability to be a great and loving dog. I am very loveable and every bit as worthy of compassion as the hundreds of little puppies who get adopted in a day, while I sit and wait... and wait... and wait."
DAR says: "Chelsea is a loving and happy go lucky 1.5 year old girl. This is a dog that LOVES to cuddle!! Chelsea has so much love to give! She thinks the world was invented to pet her! Chelsea is an exceptionally smart dog. She knows her basic obedience, is crate trained, has great house manners, is great with cats and people, but she does show some fear with unknown dogs. As a pup, Chelsea was roughed up by some large dogs and now she needs to be introduced slowly. We are happy to report however, that her general trust of other dogs is improving daily, thanks to the patience and training of her foster home. Her obedience commands are done through hand signs as she is deaf. Consider Chelsea as the next addition to your family."

ADOPTED NALA - Please contact Lorraine Laporte at leuleu@leuleu.qc.ca or (514) 804 9303 for more information [or contact joseerhe-deantho@videotron.ca after January 3, 2004]. Nala is a loving adult female whose owner is terminally ill. She is a shy girl as it seems she has been scared and hurt in the past. Once Nala gets to know you, she becomes one of the sweetest and cuddliest of dogs. She is petite, very cute and full of life. She loves to play with other dogs once she has gotten to know them. She is totally house broken and very trainable. Nala needs a family with good dog experience who will be kind, firm and won't let her indulge in her antisocial behaviour. She is still with her original family just outside of Montreal and transportation will not be a problem. Nala is 8 years old.

ADOPTED TAZ - is an outgoing 1 year old boy. He is very friendly and looking for an energetic home who will have time to play with him. He currently resides at the Stoney Creek Animal Control call them at (905)643-8626
ADOPTED BAILEY - is a lovely, beautifully tempered 4 year old male. He loves to cuddle and play. Bailey likes other dogs, children and adult but needs some work in the area of cats. He has great house manners and is just a joy to be around. Bailey would love to go to a home that has another dog to play with. He is in need of a home where he will get ample exercise and a yard with an excellent fence, as Bailey is an escape artist. We will not consider homes that do not have adequate fencing.
ADOPTED MILO - is a sweet adorable 3ish year old girl. She is fun loving and will make an excellent companion to any family. Milo is good in the house, good with other dogs, loves people, but enjoys a good run if she can get out. Milo will need a home that has the time to dedicate to her and one that has no cats. She would love a dog friend to play with as well.
ADOPTED LUKE - is a wonderful 4 year old boy, who wonders daily: "is there a home to love me?". He has good house manners and is obedience trained. He is good with other dogs, adults and children. He seems to be good with cats. He is looking for a home that will give him lots of petting and love. Is that you?
ADOPTED NO NAME YET - is a sweet 2ish year old happy go lucky boy. This dal knows his obedience through sign language as he is deaf. Currently this lovely dal is located at Toronto Animal Services. He has lovely black spots and gorgeous brown eyes that tell the tale of a sweet soul who needs a home. He is good with other dogs and cats and enjoyed getting clean when he was given a bath. The staff at Toronto Animal Services think is he a fantastic dog. Toronto Animal Services is located at 140 Princes' Blvd in Toronto (The Exibition in the Horse Palace). ADOPTED JAKE - is a happy and enthusiastic 3 year old boy. Jake just loves to play and be with the family. He is a lot of fun and is looking for a home that is as happy and loving as he is. Jake is good with other dogs and cats.
ADOPTED KEYARA - is a sweet natured 5 year old girl who is looking for a home to love her. She loves people and children, she is good with other dogs and just loves to be doing what you are doing. ADOPTED NIKITA - is a beautiful 5 year old female looking for a great home. She is very loving and playful. She gets along great with other dogs, however she is not suited for a home with cats. She has been crate trained, knows basic obedience and loves to cuddle. She is in great health. She is a great companion!
ADOPTED SHAKESPEARE - is a happy go lucky, bouncy, enthusiastic little boy. He is 10 months old and looking for a home who has the energy to keep up with him. He loves all people. He enjoys the company of other dogs, we are not sure about cats though. He has some obedience but certainly could use more and is ever so eager to please. He is cuddly and loveable and looking for a home with the dedication to take on a young dal.
ADOPTED SELINA - is a very loving and shy girl who is waiting for her very own home. She likes other dogs, all people and cats. She has good house manners and would just to have a family of her own.
ADOPTED CHANCE - a gorgeous 4 yr old neutered male Dalmatian. He is not good with cats. He loves people, walks and belly rubs. He is okay with some dogs. At one home he had, he was picked on by the other dog, so we want to make sure he meets any dogs that are in the home prior to adoption. He was adopted, and returned because he was sad and paces and cries in his crate. He needs obedience classes and also needs to be crated. We are not sure why he cries and paces in his crate. He may have a little separation anxiety. We would like to see him as the "only dog" in his new home, so that he can get the time he needs. ADOPTED NEMUSH - is a fantastic 8-10 year old deaf liver and white boy. He is a very happy and athletic boy who likes children and other dogs. He has not be tested with cats as of yet. He is an older adult looking for a wonderful home to call his own.

ADOPTED ROXIE - a loving little girl looking for a new home. She is friendly and outgoing but will need some obedience work.
ADOPTED SPOTTY - was taken in as a stray by Georgina Animal Control. This poor poor guy is between 8-10 years of age and sadly was unwanted by his family. Spotty will be looking ahead to a very sad christmas without a home. He simply would like somewhere to retire and relax in a sunbeam. Do you have room in your heart for him?
ADOPTED MAX - is a handsome 4 year old boy who has tons of love to give a deserving family. Max is energetic and loves to go for walks. He has great house manners, a wonderful personality and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Max has a sparkle in his eye and a spring in his step and is waiting for the perfect home !
ADOPTED DANTE - is a happy go lucky boy who is in search of a loving home. Dante is a handsome boy with a fantastic personality. He has good house manners and just wants to cuddle with you. Dante loves people and other dogs but has not had exposure to cats. He has a wonderful personality and would make a great addition to any home.
ADOPTED CHECKERS - a happy go lucky 1.5 year old male with tons of love to give the right home. He has some basic obedience and gets along with other dogs and cats. ADOPTED SKETCH - a cuddly and cute 1.5 year old female. She has tons of energy and love to give the perfect home. She is good with other dogs and loves people. She has a little obedience but will definately require some patience and training. Sketch is waiting for a wonderful family.
ADOPTED SASHA - is a beautiful girl looking for a great home. She is a little quiet for a dal, but I'm sure that will change once she is comfortably settled in a new and loving home.

ADOPTED JENNY - a sweet and silly 2.5 year old female. She is a cute girl that likes people and seems to get along with other dogs. Her behaviour with cats is unknown. She has some obedience and tons of energy!!
ADOPTED PATIENCE - a handsome and loving older boy who needs a wonderful home. He is a happy boy who gets along with other dogs, cats and people. He is good in the house and loves lying in sunbeams. Consider Patience as your next addition.
ADOPTED LUCKY - A lovely and friendly young male. He has a great disposition and is looking for a family to love him. He is so wonderful, consider him as your new family member.
ADOPTED NO NAME YET - Do you have room in your heart for me? A wonderful male dalmatian who currently resides with the Etobicoke Animal Services. He is very very sad and wants a home of his own. ADOPTED TYSON - A Northern Dalmatian named TYSON - available at the Great Slave Animal Hospital, contact them directly at 867-873-2579 and ask for Amy or email the spca@theedge.ca. Tyson is a healthy boy with a great personality and good obedience. He walks well on a leash and has lived with cats. Not to worry if you are not in the area, shipping is available !!
ADOPTED Zeus & Tyler - They are really lovely dogs who love each other immensely. For this reason these will have to be second or third dogs in a home or be adopted out together.
ADOPTED THEOREN - A happy go lucky young male dalmatian. He really wants a loving home to go to. Please consider him as your next family member. He is lively and outgoing with a great disposition.
ADOPTED RASCAL is a lovley spayed 3 year old girl. She is good with cats, excellent with children but does not seem to get along with dogs. This may be a training issue but it is unknown at this point. She knows some basic obedience and is very eager to please. Consider Rascal as your next family member.
ADOPTED BUDDY - a handsome, friendly, mellow 3 year old male. Bud is a happy, very very affectionate, relaxed and happy boy who enjoys the company of some dogs but has told us that he would like a home without cats, because they annoy him. He LOVES all people, young and old. He has good obedience, walks well on a leash and is crate trained. If you would like a lovely affectionate boy as your companion, please inquire about Bud.
ADOPTED SOLO - Solo was hit by a car and then left on the road. Animal Control kindly went and picked him up and he will require surgery and weeks of rehabiliation. After this he can be adopted. He is a good boy, and despite all of his pain and injury, he licks the hands of his caretakers and wags his tail. We will know more about him as he heals. Stay tuned. UPDATE Dec 2001- Solo is on the mend. He is a happy boy, who is eager to please. He loves everyone (even the vet). UPDATE Jan 2002 - Solo is getting stronger every day. His bad leg is not as strong as his good leg but he is working on that with extensive play sessions with his foster brother.
ADOPTED CHAMP - Hi !!! I'm a 5 year old male with tons of love to give to a family who wants to love me. I am black and white and very handsome, if I do say so myself. I am very healthy and neutered. I am looking for a family with older children, preferably no cats, although I might tolerate them, and other dogs to play with provided they are submissive. I enjoy being the boss of other dogs. I am good in the house and have pretty decent obedience skills.
ADOPTED DAISY - Greetings !!! I am a 6 year old spayed healthy female seeking a loving new home. I am a pretty girl, who enjoys long walks, and sunsets. My hobbies include sleeping in sunbeams, chasing cats for fun, and patrolling the house looking for crumbs on the floor. I enjoy the company of other dogs, but would prefer a house with older children.
ADOPTED FRECKLES - a 2-3 year old petite female Dalmatian. She is great with people, other dogs and has her basic obedience.
ADOPTED DARWIN - a happy go lucky boy who needs a home of his own. Darwin loves other dogs, and is very friendly with people, he believes that people were put on earth to pet him. ADOPTED MAIA - a happy and loving 5 year old female. Maia loves everyone, including other dogs, children, adults, cats, and even birds !! She is well behaved in the home and loves to run. Maia has good obedience which she has learned by hand sign as she is deaf. Maia needs a loving home, how about yours?
ADOPTED LORETTA - a lovely 1 year old girl who is so lonely because she does not have her own family.
ADOPTED PERRY - is a loving 1.5 year old mom who recently gave birth to a litter of pups. Perry now needs a forever home and is sad that all of her puppies have new homes but she does not. She is a petite girl who likes other dogs, cats and people. She is extremely affectionate and loves attention. Perry is a fantastic dog, consider her as your next Dalmatian.
ADOPTED DOT - is looking for her forever loving home. She is well behaved in the house, crate trained and enjoys the company of other dogs. She is a playful and active girl who needs some love and patience from someone willing to give her a second chance. It is unknown whether or not she like cats. Dot needs an adult home or a home with older children, as young children seem to frighten her. Dot needs a second chance!!

ADOPTED JACK - I have the honour of being the darkest Dalmatian in history !! I am not a Dalmatian cross, as both of my parents were Dalmatian. I am unique and you will never see another one marked like me. I love people and would be a perfect addition in any home. I am very sad as I have been passed up by some potential homes because they said I am "too dark". If you want to rescue a needy dal, consider me, a 1.5 year old, neutered male who loves all people. I need a second chance !!

CLEO - is a well behaved 3 year old female. She is an excellent dog who lives with her brother Rastus. She is a fabulous girl who would love a family to call her own. She has good obedience skills, is friendly with other dogs, people and cats. She is a great house dog and desperately wants a family to love her.

ADOPTED Meggie - is a pretty little 4 year old girl. She needs a home desperately. Currently she lives at a vet clinic, as this is where she was dumped. She has good obedience, likes cats and children, but can be choosy about her dog friends.
PENNY - is a 3 year personable Dalmatian. She is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is good with other dogs and loves children. Penny knows some obedience and tries very hard to please. What a lovely girl !
ADOPTED Wilber is an 8 month old happy and bouncy boy looking for a family to love. He is has his basic obedience and is good boy in the house. He loves kids, other dogs, cats and kittens!! He has even lived with birds!!
ADOPTED Angel is a 1.5 year old,affectionate and loving female. She is very eager to please and behaves extremely well. She loves kids, cats, other dogs and is okay with cats.
Dax is a 5 year old loving male who is looking for a new home. He has excellent basic obedience skills and loves other dogs, kids and adults. Dax has long outgrown all the puppy stages and has the wisdom of 5 years to share with younger pups. He will make a wonderful addition to any home.
Jessie is a 6 1/2 year old, cuddly female, ready to begin life with a new family. She is a perfect dog with impeccable obedience skills and housetraining. She is wonderful with other dogs, kids and adults. As an adult, Jessie has already been through the puppy stages and is relaxed and content when with the family. She will make a wonderful pet for the family that opens their heart to her.
Copper is a 2 year old, extremely affectionate male. He is a very gentle boy who loves other dogs, kids, adults and appears to be alright with cats. He has good obedience skills and would flourish in a loving home. Copper will make a superb addition to any home.
Holly is a 5 month old affectionate female, looking for a family to love of her own. She loves other dogs, kids and adults. Holly was bought as a Christmas present, and was obviously unwanted as she has been through 4 homes before coming to DAR. Holly knows some basic obedience commands and is ready to learn at obedience classes with her new family. Holly is deaf, so she must be on lead at all times, as she cannot hear cars coming from behind.
Joey is a 2.5 years old well behaved male. This dog adores children and also loves everything else. He will be a fine addition to any family. He has his basic obedience and is good in the house. Especially in his favorite chair.
ADOPTED Angel - an 8 week old 'angel' of a Dalmatian, who will make a loving and affectionate companion to any family. She is a deaf dal and has been trained with hand signals. She is being fostered with other dogs, cats, kids,and horses.
ADOPTED Domino-is an 8 year old happy boy looking for a family to love. He is well trained, and loves children, other dogs and all people. Being an adult, Domino has passed all the Dalmatian puppy stages and is well adjusted and relaxed. He will bond quickly and easily in his new home.
ADOPTED Blue - is a 1.5 year old male who will make a fabulous family dog. He is gentle and loving to people and other dogs.
Cupid - a darling 4 month old deaf girl, who is looking for a home to call her own. She is housetrained, crate trained and has her basic obedience. She loves other dogs, children and adults and LOVES being cuddled.
Phantom - a sweet six year old girl, who likes cats, children and other dogs. She know some basic obedience, and is very loveable. She loves to run, swim and play fetch. As you can see, she is quite cuddly with her friend on the couch.
Bendigo - a two year old well adjusted male. He is being fostered with two other dogs, cats and 3 children. He loves to kiss everyone!!! This gentle, sweet boy is enjoying his foster home, but is looking for a family of his own to love. He has some basic obedience and would make an excellent addition to any home.
Pongo - a loving five year old male. He enjoys the company of all people and is a very gentle dog with both adults and children. He is excellent in the house and crates very well. He knows basic obedience which is done with sign language as he is deaf.
Hanna - a friendly little 2 year old female who loves other dogs, people and cats. She has some basic obedience and loves to run. She is an excellent housedog and is happy doing whatever you are doing at any particular time.
Sidney - a 1.5 year old affectionate male. He was surrendered after being hit by a car by owners who did not want to pay for his medical bills. He has recovered in perfect form and has love and energy to give to his family. He has his basic obedience and is good in the house.
Jello, a calm relaxed 2 yr old boy, is looking for a family of his own. He gets along well with other dogs, and loves relaxing with his 'people'. He is good in the house, walks nicely on lead and has his basic obedience. His perfect home will have dog experience, a willingness to help him deal with some abuse issues, and no young children.
Diamond - a petite and friendly 2 year old female. She has a wonderful outgoing personality with tons of spunk. She likes other dogs and loves being with people. She has her basic obedience and would make an excellent dog in a one or multi-pet household. Although Spot and Diamond live together, they can be adopted separately.
Ryker, a loving 3 year old male. He was badly undernourished but has now developed into a beautiful looking Dalmatian. He is very well mannered with a submissive nature. He gets along with other dogs, children, and cats. He has had basic obedience and is very gentle.
Casey is a 9 month old loveable girl. She knows her sit, come and down commands and is working on her stay command. She loves children, other dogs, and cats. All of her obedience training has been done with hand signals as she is deaf. She will be a great addition to a loving family.
Henry - a 3 year old male who enjoys the company of cats and other dogs. He has excellent house manners and loves people. He has some basic obedience but will need some leash work. Henry will make a fine addition to any home.
Otto - a lovely 9 month old deaf boy who adores people and other dogs. He has wonderful house manners and his basic obedience. He loves to play and receive attention. Otto will make a wonderful addtion to any household.
Harley - is 1.5 years old. He is a very affectionate dog. Harley - is a wonderfully behaved 2 year old male. He is a larger Dalmatian but has basic obedience skills. He has tons of love to give to a family. He enjoys the company of people and other dogs.
Patches - is a 1 year old female who has tons of love to give. She enjoys playing with other dogs and loves people (especially ones who pet her!!). She is learning obedience and house manners under the care of her foster home and is excelling at both.
Spud - a lively 2 year old deaf male with a wonderful personality. He has excellent obedience and loves the company of people and other dogs. Spud will make a fine addition to your family.
ADOPTED Sasha - is a beautiful 2.5 year old female. She is a small girl, weighing only 35lbs. Sasha has wonderful behaviour in the house and loves to play with children and other dogs. She is deaf and has been trained with hand signs. This dalmatian has personality plus and would be an excellent addition to any home.
Kelly - is a loving 10 year old female who is seeking a new home. She knows her obedience and has been in a home environment. Kelly has the maturity of a 10 year old combined with the playful streak of a Dalmatian. She is choosy when it comes to her dog friends, but definately gets along with Domino. She has excellent house manners and would be a wonderful dog in a home with older children. Consider Kelly for your home.
ADOPTED Jessie - is a playful 9 month old female. She has an excellent temperament and loves everyone and everything. She has grasped basic obedience and will make an excellent candidate for further training, as she is very smart. She likes other dogs, children and cats. Jessie would love an active home who is willing to play with her and cuddle with her.
ADOPTED No name #2 - a lovely liver and white boy who is approximately 1 year old. He is very friendly and knows some obedience commands. In fact he and no name #1, get along very well (if you are looking to save two dogs !) He is very good with adults, children and other dogs.
Bugsy - is a 4 month old little pup. He is loving, friendly and extremely attentive !! Bugsy is an excellent candidate for advanced obedience. He is very cute with medium black spots. Bugsy likes other dogs and seems to be okay with cats. He loves everyone big and small and is desperate for a family of his own.
ADOPTED Max - is a loving 5 year old male. He loves children, other dogs and tolerates cats. He is from a family environment, so will fit into any family with relative ease. He is a smaller boy, who knows his basic obedience and loves to sleep on the bed. He will make a fine addition to any home - perhaps yours?
